just dropped her off for her m.o.t  :undecided:-wish me luck!

the good news is-she didnt fail!
the bad news is-they didnt have time to test her,as it took longer to fit the new'ish gearbox!! so its got to wait till tomorow-good job ive got the week off i guess.
FAILED!
rear center seatbelt mechanism doesnt work-anyone know how much one of these would be?

passed!! just had to undo the bracket,retract the belt and heypresto. and wot a difference a non-notchy gearbox makes n'all!! HAPPY DAYS

drove 110 miles to my mums,picked her up,drove to the toby carvery in old windsor,had a f'ing great big roast dinner for a fiver,drove her home,had a brew,then drove 110 mile's home again-lovely!!

oh,and wot a difference brighter bulbs make-last time i drove home along the A303 in the dark,it was hard work with the candles that are standard bulbs,those 100% brighter ones are the dogs dodar's imo  :cool:

Dtrove int 5 minutes up the hill to my dads house to descover the water l;eak is a mjor cuase of concern on my vr6  :sad: paked it up and drove back home in my mk4 tdi  :grin:

Replaced broken rear ABS sensor  :smiley:

Washed her and took for MOT ( FAILED ON A DODGY FRONT BALL JOINT ) They wanted £54.00 just for the joint!! I went to my friend at a certain car spare shop and got a NEW ARM AND BALL JOINT FOR.................. £21.56  :grin:

Just shows you how much money garages rip off the unknown public on parts  :angry:
