Took my starter motor off and re greased it.. And guess what.. No more terrible noise  :grin:

Saved my self £63.00
i say im going to do this every weekend, but i can never be arsed  :grin:

I couldn't stand it any longer.. Plus the longer you leave it  :evil: it can damage the thread and cost you more in the long run.

thats the reason i wana get it done, but i really cant be arsed haha, might give it a go later depending on how long this hangover decides to stay

Cleaned the inside which was really bad, removed a carrier bag full of excess wiring running through the car, messed up the immobiliser and repaired it, took the bolt on tat off the back and removed thousands of stickers from the car.

A very productive day and tomorrows plan is to clean the outside and the engine bay and post some piccies up in the Mark 3 section  :wink:

gave my mk2 a good clean out and polish and a new pair of pedal rubbers  :smiley:

 ( easy to fit if put in hot water first  :wink: )

before it gets  put away in the  garage before it goes on sale in 2 weeks time  :cry:

Got my buddy to remove various unused immobilisers and wiring saving at least 750g's  :cool:

More importantly I now have a working heater after almost 8months of not having one. Must have taken him all of 25mins :grin:

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

Replaced offside CV boot. Had to grind of the nut that held the steering control arm, just kept on spinning good damn it! All back together now though. Phewwwwwww
