Started flatting down my new door for welding and primer. Smoothed my rolled/front wings, and figured out what was wrong with the MiG welder.

Happy days.

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

Took her an MOT and service.
I told them before hand that the horn wasn't working since I had replaced the MFA stalk.
They fixed that and then it failed because of the brake balance on the front was fubared.
Turns out there was a massive air lock in the new hoses, so they bled them and re-filled the system.
Then passed with an advisory on the rear passenger door handle. Apparently that would have been a fail, but was changed last year.
No idea where I will get a replacement though...

Change from £300, so could have been worse.

Golf GTi 8v mk2 1990
Coilovers, BBS RA, K&N Induction Kit...

t cut and polished it, put my new red gti.co.uk tax disc holder in and fitted a new front splitter  :smiley:

looks better from a distance now  :grin:

replaced the gearbox mount and tightened the hub nut that was causing the knocking noise

Yep, I put the one I did the other day to shame ! This one has really f**ked it up, hence the request for a mobile refurb company in the "Off Topic" section as it needs sorting :(
