With a baby on the way the Missus is less keen on Gti's now although I've spotted a rather nice 5 dr MK5 not too far away so maybe we can change her mind...who's with me?

Mind you, I've managed to get approval for a Mondeo ST TDCI so it's not all bad as family cars go.

Repaired my exhaust with some exhaust sealer, a bean can and some jubilee clips :) about to put camo bonnet on

well i didn't but southcoast_gti put my new door handles on and fitted my door cars and my sub is now wired in thanks to another friend!! also i no longer have a VW badge on the back as we pulled it off then realised i have no glue to fit the new one =[ but i did manage to get all the stickers off the windows!!

Re-attached cat heat shield using 2 2p coins as washers to replace the rusted clips. Also removed the skirt trim (as the usual rusted strips were already missing, and it looked messy)
