Growing increasingly tired of it's rattling from the cat. Considering whether I should break it or not, or at least begin taking bits off to sell....

totally stripped the interior out on my mk2 gti and half the dash to start on heater matrix and fitted a new track rod end on the mk3gti..
also pressure washed the carpets from the mk2 as the interior is proper mouldy.....


its all about v dubs baby!!!!!!!!!!

Put some fuel in, air in the tyres and got it washed for the 1st time in weeks.

Still hoping to sell if anyone wants a bargain Mk3 Gti 8V.

did  a bit of welding on n/s  floorpan then looked around n/s rear chassis as there is a small hole in the rear arch and got sad at how much rotten crumbly steel is being held together with sealer  :cry: and after poking around the hole in the arch that isnt as small now either

bit of a hoover out then painted the tops of the coil packs to finish off the look in my engine bay  :cool: fitting them tomorra  :smiley:

Washed the mk6, was hovering it, then there was a power cut as i was half way through. Then it rained. So that was time wasted.  :undecided:

drove home in it
