replaced the windscreen. washing line trick worked a treat  :cool:

Washed them both as the guy up the hill made me feel guilty i did not do them yesterday. :grin:
I also changed a seat lift cable on the mk1 as it had snapped.
I then fitted some sticky back foam pads in certain areas of the mk6 (B-pillar trim joins and behind the fuse panel cover as shown in one of the threads on the forum) to try to reduce some of the rattles and squeeks.

Washed and polished it  :smiley:

Also resprayed the red on the grill as it was beginning to look tired!

changed 2x rear wheel bearings 2x hand brake cables 1 wheel cylinder and 2x brake drums + cleaned two lots of bird sh!t of of the old girl

Yesterday I tided up my MK5 handle wiring and fitted new boot trim.  Also put some anti-rattle tape under the ashtray and gave the car a wash

Today my lovely girlfriend stitched the gaitor on my gear stick as the Beetle and Golf one's are different - only been like that for 3 years mind  :laugh: :laugh:
