To Glasgow and back just under a half tank of petrol and no disasters

that was until the speedo cable broke about 20miles from home, MOT at the end of the week

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

 Yeah I lied it looked like rain and thought I would push myself! I'm self motivated you know! So to get one union PAS nut of the rack its taken me about two and half hours! First dremel F'n pipe of then found an extention bar at a bloody stupid angle a crow bar started to smack it hard took of some underseal off, but ok can live with that. Slipped the stubby spanner into the firewall against my knuckles!
Then finally decided to shortern the bar then use a 60mm copper pipe tube to get more leverage and by the way it was soaked in plus gas night before and lock freeze.
NEVER in my life it has taken me two hours to undo a nut. I was at the point of dropping the subframe off and engine!!! You want to see how this little 18mm union bolt nearly defeated me Ad?
