will the timing chain from a AGU fit a AUM?

thought it was only the R and the 4mo that had a chain?

however cant help on the size of them. sorry

Cams are chained to each other. As for your question, don't know sorry  :sad:

Only 1 part number 058 109 229 B is listed on etka for 99 and 2003 engine 1.8t codes so id say looking at the manual it would!   Only tensioner is different.

Just to clear up on this thread - The 1.8t Engine has a timing belt + a timing chain.

1 Cam is driven off the crankshaft as normal and then the second cam is driven using a chain off the first cam.
