You can drive an untaxed car to a MOT test centre. You need a valid MOT in order to tax the car, would be a catch 22 situation otherwise

Quote
Driving an untaxed vehicle to an MOT test

You can drive your vehicle to and from a pre-arranged test at an MOT test station as long as you have adequate insurance cover in place for the use of that vehicle.
This is also for vehicles being driven to and from a pre-arranged test at a Vehicle Inspection Check (VIC) test station, an approved weight testing station and reduced pollution test.

Not trying to start an argument but to keep your dad's license clean, unless he has trade insurance etc. or the car itself is insured on someone elses policy, he can't.

The car needs to be insured before someone else with fully comp cover can drive it insurance allowing.

My dad can drive other cars third party but they NEED insurance.

Where all my moneys went.

Golf MK3 1.6. Golf MK3 8v GTI.

Not trying to start an argument, but is there anything other than complete and utter blollocks that comes out of your mouth?
