Clock/ MFD Display.

Hi all,

I've just bought my first GTI, a mint MK2 1800 8V, and i'm very happy with it.But i've got a problem with the clock/Multi function display unit.

Basically i can't find out how to set the clock!The obvious way would seem to be with the two buttons either side of the tripometer that you depress with a pen etc.However nothing happens when i press them.

Am i missing something obvious?Do i need to push the switch on the MFA stalk?

Sorry for the lame question but i'm totally stumped so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Pen never worked for me.

Straightened out paperclip did the trick, and you had to be brutal.
