why spend all that 1200 on a mint condition one? do what my brother has, and buy a not to bad condition one, then buy a scrapper thats modded, and strip the parts!
he got a whole car from a scrappie with Big bumpers, smooth tailgat, twin DTM exit (MAGNEX!!!), sports seats, induction kit- ?100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
look around!

honestly, i think 8v- 16v have got stupid insurance premiums!

Hi All,

In your opinion which is best the 8v or the 16v mk2 ?

I've owned 4 8v's but never had a 16v and I'm now looking for a new one.

Cheers,
ajh

Can't believe your asking the question! :-)

16v wipes the 8v everytime. I don't remember a single 8v in the lifetime of my 16v ever getting close. And they tried, bless their little souls.

In my honest opinion the 8v drives more like a GL.

However, the 16v has one huge achillies heel.

Every single one (including mine) has been thrashed by its owner.

Regards,
Justin

I went for Adrian Flux. The best I had from anywhere. ?946 and ?300 xs with 2 years no claims. Still quite pricey but everywhere else had been quoting me over a grand.
