You'd be surprised mate, it wont go down much at all.

It tends to go down more when you get more no claims rather than age, but when your 23/24 like me then insurance goes down alot, its awesome

And yeah Adrian Flux offered me the best deal on my 16v golf gti.

HIC gave me a good deal; slightly better than Adrian Flux. PM Martin as he can get you a good deal.

NCB definitely helps - I just need to earn some now as I was on my dad's policy!

I have all my cars with Adrian Flux, they are very good for modified cars & high performance cars (Very good) & trips abroad.
Been hit up the arse in our VR and someone dented our TVR door out side a resturant within a week they were sorted.
Still got my 10 years no claims protected.
Got 3 pts 3 yrs ago for speeding they never put my insurance up when I told them.
most insurance companies see that as a liecence to line their pockets.
Now my 2 eldest kids are with them to on their own insurance they were the cheapest around for youngsters starting out.

Mine went down LOADS when I turned 21, so much so that I bought a MK5 lol. Saying that alot of companies (and I mean a lot !) still gave me silly prices. I eneded up with Elephant (dont get me wrong, its still fooking expensive lol). The cost of insureing my MK4 being 20 and being 21 also went down loads aswell.

I was also looking at Bimmers before deciding on the MK5 and I could get cover on 328i withtin my price range, so from my experience yes, it goes down nicely at 21 (for me anyway).

hic could insure me once i was 21 and it dropped by half for me.

with 3 points and 3 accidents i;ve had a hard first 3 years of driving, luckily year 4 is half the price of year 3, with all mods declared!
