Hi, Does any one know if its possible to upgrade the front brakes from 1.4 to mk2 GTI but keep the rear drums? Or would it unbalence to much??

you may hav already done it anyway but i put gti brakes on the front of my 1.3 and it seemed fine.

Hi, this was quite an old post... but strangly enough im about to do the conversion.. hopefully this weekend coming. I have the rear disk setup now so will do it all to be safe.
