well after a couple of weeks

a couple of offers for it

and a fair few purchases I thought we should go back to the start  :undecided: :huh:

Lets actually DRIVE the car for the first time.

so after 4 hours in the vectra today I took Clive for a drive  :grin:

It starts, it moves, forwards at the second attempt, the linkages are goosed.  :laugh:

all gears work  :smiley:

it stops, eventually  :shocked:

it steers ( or it could be classed as wallows )  :evil:

Tickover is high, think the carb needs overhauling / replacing  :cry:

so, tomorrow will be tinkering day

The Apec springs and Boge shocks i picked up from Vaughn ( cheers again ) look nearly new, so just gotta find out how low it actually is  :lipsrsealed:
