Ok bought her a couple of months back
Completely standard 1998 R Reg Golf GTi 8v 5 Door in dragon Green with 66k on the clock.

In well above avergae condition outside(has a small dent in rear quarter panel no paint damage tho and a bit of ruct on nearside rear door (under window rubber)/mint inside, engine etc all run superbly.
Wanted 3 door 16v but fell in love with this one!!

Day i bought it:

1st weekend of ownership and a damn good clean!!! oh and add the site stickers and a Performance VW 1:

Its been a couple of months and cash has been real tight and the big mods are are waiting funding!!!

Future mods:
Clear Repaeters Ordered
Crystal front fogs/indicators
Red Grill GTi Badge
Paint Calipers
Cat Back Exhaust (sooner rather than later as it is blowing!!!!)
K&N Filter or induction kit
Lowered Prob 50/30mm
17" Alloyds (way too many to choose from)
Sort the couple of bodywork jobs
Then its clean the whole engine pay and make it look nice (its only 8v so not very pretty LOL)
Upgrade sound system!!

Clear side repeater are now on, make the car look a little fresher.
Tomorrow is the 1st big spend for me, cars booked into Elite (Essex) for the exhaust system.  Looking at it its only needs the back box but knowing me ill be driving home with a complete system!!!!!!  Ill put pics up once its on!!!

Next month lowering and wheel alighnment, following month wheels etc etc etc

Got the Exhaust done today, only needed a back box and due to the fact i didnt really want to pay out for a full susyem jest had the back box fited will get centre box in a month or so!!!  the place i went to dont charge for fitting on Remus Exhausts so quite happy to do it in stages!!!!

Just swapped the old ~Sony head unit that came with the car for one i bought about a year ago for my last car, surprised by how much bettrer it sounds with just the headunit upgraded!!!
