GTD Coolant Level & What to use?
« on: 20 January 2014, 16:54 »
Got me my GTD last Wednesday.
Love it!!

Popped the bonnet this afternoon to see if I could see the window "sound actuator" noticed my pink coolant level is just at/below the min level (thank you VW)
What does the GTD take coolant wise?
Should I just jump into VW and query this? Surely it should be at the max?

Thanks for looking and helping you fantastic people you!! :)

Take it back to the dealers - that way you shouldn't have to pay if a top-up is required. :-)

Is the engine hot or cold when at the minimum level?

Cars been running fine since I got her.
Took her to the local VW dealers, unfortunately it was an Arnold Shark, I half expected them to be a55holes, prior experience in taking them to court.
But the service dept were more than helpful, got a cuppa and they topped up my coolant.
Happy days :)

Thanks for the comments and advice chaps.
