A few more from memory :-
- Check all interior car mats are present and they they are the proper GTi ones.
- Check the VIN number (in the windscreen) matches the VIN number on all your documents. Its easy to get letters transposed (and harder to fix weeks later).
The VW salesman will probably give you a customer satisfaction survey before you leave with your pride and joy. He will be desperate for a high score
That is the time to ask for a few final touches - a full tank of fuel, some top up oil & windscreen washer etc.
