2.0 GTI wont start

2.0 GTI car wont start,no spark from coil.coil working,tested...any ideas?

ECU relay, crank sensor or wiring fault somewhere in between

You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.

relay is ok (number 30),checked in other vw golf,but i cant check crank sensor,need to buy a new one...i hope there will be the problem... :undecided:

goto GSF - VW want £180 for them.  GSF want £45 or so.  Works fine - fitted one to my AGG not long ago.

it would be cheaper to get the car on vagcom. That should pin point the problem.

VAGCOM (old one) cant see any problems...anyway,waiting for new crank sensor,will be fitted today...



YEPPP,crank sensor was the problem,now runs like new ! :D
