Really excellent results 
How did you get them kind of results with a DA?? I have a DA and can't get them kind of results, I've tried loads of quality compounds and pads.
I've passed over slowly and give it a few going over's and still there remains holograms, swirls and scratches 
I detailed it back in March, prior to going for my op. So detailing the paintwork again was easier as it was surface rubbish on it. So in effect, its had two goes with the DA. Its not entirely swirl free yet either, as I really need to have a rotary to complete the task.
My objective wasn't paint correction, although I'd say the swirls have been reduced significantly, but to remove the hazy paintfinish and bring back the gloss.
German paints are notoriously hard work. We also have a Golf and Mrec, and I will be investing in a rotary at some point in the future. Thankfully, I have the luxury of those cars so one can stay in my garage to recieve days worth of TLC. Just lucky really.
When it stops raining, I'll try and take some close-up shots in the sunlight.
