New plugs and temp sensor and a new sidelight!

Going to cut the subframe open tonight, cut off the captive nut, weld in a new nut and weld back on the piece of subframe we took off.

The fit all the stuff I mentioned above, so plugs and packs, new rear pads and bolts, handbrake cables, two bottles of G12 coolant and some water, temp sensor, new coolant pipe, new rear sidelight, flyeye my headlights, and probs some more!

Not sure on this option, I guess you have no other choice but you run the risk of weakening the subframe.

as long as its a proper job it should be fine. but as its a mk3, it could be a whole world of rust pain  :lipsrsealed:

good luck

Lol, no risk, just a small hole and when its welded back it will be good as new! Rather that than swap the subframe!!!

Chassis is pretty solid tbh and subframe was in good condition and when I did the conversion I striped it back and painted it.

Tyres should arrive this week, so saturday its down to get them fitted then it aligned, camber and tracking setup.
