an epic detail... absolutely epic

but the man has the time and obviously money and resource to be able to do this

i think some bits were taking it a step toooo far... but most of it was cool... my dynamatting is better than his as I made it all match up the right way!

mind you - that is about the only thing that I have got better than his on that detail  :embarassed: ... oh... and I drive a VW! :afro:

D*mn you Blue, you made me late for work this morning!! :D I started reading the thread, then just got carried away with it and realised what the time was!

Just finished reading it and I'm amazed!! Incredible work. The attention to detail is unreal!

Better go get the buckets out..

the attention to detail is a bit OTT really though isnt it... at what point do you stop having a good looking and clean motor and start having something which you cant take out and thrash cause you're worried about a spec of dirt getting on the wheel arch?

he was also spraying that hose thing against his paintwork VERY hard... he might have ingrained a half mm fly poo into the clearcoat? :undecided:

does anyone else cringe when they drive through a puddle... or is it just me?

Nice looking motor, but it doesn;'t look THAT much better than a good proper clean and polish.

I'm sorry but he really needs to get a life!

Must admit it was clean but the white did'nt show all the work that he had put in in my opinion. Thought the colour of his old car was better.

Can't knock the guys determination and drive  Regardless of what anyone thinks that is an amazing thing he has done, so focused! Yeh many people will say ''get a life'' but if that is his life then who are we to judge? Fair play mate!

Just showed (some) of this to Mrs Green just to prove im no where near OCD (as she tells me frequently!!) when it comes to cleaning my car compared to some.

Top marks!!

if your gonna do that to a car at least do it to a colour thats gonna show the hard work gone into it! theres not really much of a difference unless you get the bi-nocu-lars out.

imagine what the vauxhall dealer would say if he tried to give the car back for that blemish

OCD

I've seen two cars at our place, a brand new M3 CSL and on another occasion a ZM3 had AP Racing brake mods, suspension mods and the "visual appearance" was changed from standard, which voided the warranty.
I doubt they could tell whether the ECU map has changed but if his car ever needed a ECU under warranty he would lose it.

To take care of a brand new car which such passion then to lose the warranty is crazy! Then again, he did add he is very particular as to who works on his car so maybe he doesn't go to main dealer for repairs.
