Chassis legs look filthy! 

nope thats the wax they put on for protection in the factories (only early cars had so much of this), i left this on because these parts are hidden behind the slam/rad cowling panel and water gathers here

i assure you those bits cannot be seen when the car is built...

i only removed the Wax protection from visible areas.. As i don't see the point removing it from those areas not seen..  felt guilty enough as it was removing any of it

So i sent away my 02J Gearbox, Wavetrac Limited slip diff, APR bolts and VR6 Final drive to Hotgolf last week



he told me around 3 weeks to complete the job but friday i got this picture sent...  its all rebuilt and ready to rock N roll ;-)



He is just lightening and balancing a Flywheel for me and ill be sending TNT i Tuesday to collect it from South Wales


I have gone complete OCD on this box, i have all the bolts to replace 1 by 1 with genuine brand new items, I can't to this till i have given it the Standard finish i always use.. Satin black!  

basically this will be a brand new Box once finished


Expect proper update soon, with lots of pics....
