the owner of that car chose a AGU 20VT, which we have fitted a K03s to.. Looking for around 200 - 220hp with remap from this one..

Ah yes.... Surprised about the clearance issue on standard height!  There's been a few AGU mk1s around. Did it have a tall block motor in it before?  What was its original motor?

Hmmm, same mounting arrangement as GTI isn't it?.   Is an AGU really that much taller than say a DX engine?

I'm using custom modified GTI mounts so yeah and it must be, TBH its ok at the mo, but the car is on stilts haha (put it this way i can lay under it with no axle stands and no jack!!)

but i can only just get my head under the sump (head touches it)

Owner wants this caddy as low as my golf.. gonna be fun!

I know bill at badger 5 is going to test them, but there's various dyno runs and adapters ready available, just the dyno's people post seem to contradict each other at the moment, be interesting to see the real results from a more concise test

My cars low but not drastically as I never want to bottom out when I do get the rare chance to give it some sh*t down some bendy, hilly roads.

With the height it is now the sump clearance isn't great to be honest and that's with the engine tilted backwards!  But I am blessed with a steel sump at least.

On the Caddy Conversion - the mounts we have had made, tilt the engine backwards, i had to chop parts of the bonnet off for it to clear the Throttle body  (this stuff should really be kept in the Caddy build tho )

I will be updating the Caddy thread after W/end, but theirs some pics of the engine in the bay already up
