Ok so today i got back my custom intercooler piping i had made up to replace the pipe i had before which is pictured below
few reasons why i wanted to got 1 piece and in alloy is because the silicone on the pipe had before was split in 2 places where it was rubbing on the front cross member.. and also because i wanted to have less joins meaning less chance of leaks and also to get rid of the plastic pipe that used to house the MAP sensor - this has now been relocated to the cold side where it should be..
this pipe lives on the drivers side of the engine and goes from the metal charge pipe that flows round the left side of the engine. this pipe joins this to the front mount intercooler
the guy has done a superb job even by my standards
