Does make me wonder how well this car would handle if driven on a challenging B road?.....

Do you not have rubbing issues when cornering hard?

Looks bloomin close here and it's not even moving.

Shame you're having so much trouble with rollers, steelies with big tyres FTW.

On the road it's superb even at high speed cornering. Very stiff suspension which is probably not helping matters on the rolling road

That explains a lot. You're right, it won't be helping at all.. Hence why I keep thinking my steelie/tyre suggestion might be good just for RR sessions?

I think I'll just be leaving the car with them to mess about with. They treat the car well so I know it will be in safe hands

I do like this car a lot. This maybe stupid thing to suggest as I never do rolling roads, but would a hub mounted dyno not eliminate the problems you are having?

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

na mate Carbon only for me and my car, best guys around IMO. Its same rolling road anyhow (Dyno dynamics) so they would have same issues

I think the fact the car is on a flat level platform means more of the engine weight will be on the dyno; ergo more traction
