I reckon he would have had you if he could.. When I got pulled they went through all the technicalities of how they can do you, if there is no speed trap or camera they match your speed over a given distance (how I got my ticket), tiny bit more over that distance I would have lost my license!

I bet they couldn't do any of the above at the time hence the warning...

either way, count yourself lucky as well as a lesson learned.

and yeah basically myself and Mr plod both knew he couldn't do jack sh!t.. i tried the "i was doing 90mph" card be he just laugh and said add at least 50mph to that!!!!

he did a check on me and on the car and even made checks to make sure the engine transplant was declared  (which it is on the insurance and with DVLA)  if not he said he had the power to take the car ?

anyhow all was good, lesson learnt and won't be making a repeat of it..
