 Vr box is no way near as big as the S3 one by look of it - and its wrong side of engine... so mk3 box is deffo out the window

plus i have my K&N on its way (TBH its my favoured route as they have never let me down)

just need uprated diverter valve now

You going forge route and you relocating the DV the same way there aftermarket kits do?

The DV relocated will not look out of place depending how you do it, I need to get a picture off mine up and show you with a black forge 007p DV, won't be much extra while your doing the custom pipework for the FMIC... Just keeping options and idea's open.

why would i need to re locate it tho ?

plus i have realised i dont need to do much pipe work for my FMIC, with having the S3 enginbe, i have the main charge pipe fron the turbo already present, i just need to fab up the bits that go down from this to the IC and then on the otherside a short bit from the IC to the TB (which on mine is located on the left of the bay)

DV recirculated air after the turbo back to the intake, the turbo offcourse warms the air up due to the heat involved. Most people relocate the DV after the intercooler so it recirculates cooler air back into the system. Seems a popular mod on the other side off the Atlantic.

re-locating makes no difference what so ever.. speak to any tuner and they will say the same.. the only difference is you can see it after relocation for some people this earns scene points maybe ??
