badger5 tips are very very highly rated mate.. i had a forge one on mine with no issues.. i think its down to preferance.. also imo do it once do it right.. the cheap silicone pipes have less strength and can delaminate where something like forge or badger5 will not.. im sure someone will pipe up with something to the contrary.. but hey lol

A mate of mine had some problems with some forge bits that had split and even had a hole in the IC where it wasnt welded properly. They were causing him various problems until we found them during a leak test. Luckily it was still in the warranty period and they were changed. Usually I'd say you gets what you pay, but I've had no problems with the "cheap" silicone bends I have bought from eBay etc. So I'd be inclined to try them out.

nick at r Tech was saying the standard intake pipe is very restrictive, so will a silicone one (of any brand) solve this ??

this is my main question ??

cheers for these replies

What turbo are you using mate? Ko3 ko3s? If you are I wouldn't bother with a silicone tip, don't think our pea shooters create enough boost to make the tip distort shape and make it restrictive :D

I suppose as long as you can get one with a 3" bore. It should be ok. The extra cost for the others may not be justified.
