remover front silencer???

Am i better off removing the front silencer on my exhaust system to gain power increase or will this cause problems?? ( dashboard lights, increased wear and tear ) or is this a common mod ???

i only as because a miltek cat back system has a front silencer, however a jetex cat back system doesnt. . . . . . . .

There's no drawbacks to doing this apart from the extra noise!  :P

You'll do well to notice any gains, IMO.  ;)  You should reduce back pressure (which is good on turbo engines), but how much of a difference it will make 'on the road', I'm not sure?? :undecided:
