Well i thought i would start my own "Project" thread.

If you have any comments,feedback or tips dont hesitate to say :D

I knew i wanted a VW Golf Mk4, didnt know what engine but it had to be 3dr regardless. So me and Rob (Toofunkyhouse) took a few days to have a look through Autotrader. There were a few nice ones but the ones we went to see were dogs. After Waiting a while i spotted the add for my Gti and we went to see it.

Well i bought the car from some geezer near Potters Bar. Here is how it looked when i got it

On the way home i booked it in for a Cam belt and water pump change, it had just done 65k so it was definatly due.

After getting the car back from the Garage i decided i needed to get hands on!

Knowing i was gonna buy a VW i knew i wanted to DUB it ;)

Started by removing the Badges and Sticking some Black VW badges on. Also some lower Intake pannels from Bored_welsh_lad. 20 quid i cant complain!

While i was at it i smoothed the Airbox and replaced the Shift for a Audi TT short shift from here

Because of the sh!t weather lately the car just turned into a pile of cat sh!t!

Nice day TODAY so cleaned her up and she is looking spot on.

O yeah Rob was my b!tch for the day too :D

UPDATE ON TURBO

Spent some more penies on turbo kit.

Getting custom manifold made due to the idiots in USA!

Bought myself a Innovate Wideband kit

Also i will be buying a Liquid System to monitor boost and all the good stuff :D
