Title: Led rear lights vcds coding help needed??

I have fitted golf r led rear lights to my gti and it has brought the bulb light on and when start the car tells me all the bulbs are out on the back my friend has got a vcds that i can use but i am not sure how to get the light off do i have to change numbers? Any help would be great thanks

Are all lights working properly since you put the rear LEDS in? if so and its throwing an error on the dash you may need to code it out with VCDS. Possibly byte 18 may need to be changed. If your friend does an auto scan and it's say 00 in byte 18. 00 hides the real factory set value for that byte.

Yes the lights work fine just need to change the code dont really no what i am doing here could ot be a few differnt codes or would i just have to change it too 18? Thanks for ure help

Search Google for a how to. If your friend is good with VCDS its very easy.
