Yep Hotgolf lightened mine to 5.6KG which he says is the norm when he lightens them :cool:

Was there much loss of driveability? It's all well fitting a new clutch with a lightened flywheel but not if you'll burn it out pulling away  :laugh:

I have not fitted it yet.  Everybody who has had their's done by him on the club gti forum is well pleased so I

guess not.  As long as I get the best performance.  I don't mind changing the clutch in a couple of years if it

does.  Not that expensive to do :smiley:

That's an alloy flywheel non? has a steel face insert thats screwed on ,very light and not cheap,would love one of these! seen them at 4kg for the 1.8t but was 500 euros  :laugh:

No loss of driveabilty. Tried and tested many times over

6speed fidanza flywheel. and 5puk paddle clutch to go with it :D
