Don't ;et the garage near the car till VOSA have doen their thing. Garages like this need to feel the force of the law as they are selling vehicles that could kill someone.

As above, don't let them near it! I thought Dubbers was a small reputable dealer? What a T!T! I nearly bought a valver off him, glad I didn't! Daimo mate just try not to worry about it either way you'll end up with a more than road worthy Gti or all your money back to buy a new 1!

Wow!
learnt a lesson here tho, dont buy a car without looking over it with a mechanic, garages are the worst do they even test a car for a years MOT im sure they just get the certificate and the testers havent even seen the car!
It would be down to the Tester tho, so he's a silly man for doing it. The dealer however gets away scott free (Dubbers is it?).

£1500's too much for that, you could get a 70k mile 1 for that! And look he's said "long mot no advisory/fails", don't belive him! Unless it was a minter of a car with less mile's I wouldn't buy of this guy I'd look elsewhere. I know you'll find a better car I'm alway's checking trader and ebay for mk3 valver's just to see what their fetching and this at that price wouldn't get a second look!
