mk1 golf gti alloys width???

As the title suggests does anybody know how wide the standard mk1 gti 9 spoke (tarantulas) wheels are???

i think thay were 5j with 175 tyres can anyone confirm

cheers for the reply, just got off my lazy @rse and went to check my rims, they are 5 1/2j

My next question, does anybody know what width tyres will give a slight stretch on a 5 1/2j rim??? (they are 13's btw)

yeah they will I'm just weighing up my options after deciding what I'm gonna do to the rims today. Could do with something that will look a bit nicer.
