VAG com interface

ive just downloaded the latest vag com, all i need now is the correct interface for my 2000 mk4 golf 2.0 gti.
anyone point me in the right direction,
do the ebay items work?
can i have the link to the correct one for my car, thanks

908 wont work with a copy interface you need a Ross Tech lead

you can buy on of these and use version 409. the blue ones work fine

or you can buy one of these and have the full version of 704

sorry for hijacking this thread. will this work with a sharan 56 plate 2.0 TDI? is it OBD2? also is it 16pin? will that £8 lead work?

unlikely unless the Sharan isn't completely CANBUS based like the older cars
