These companies are always phoning me telling me I have been in an accident recently...I haven't had an accident at all in the last decade or more....but they keep calling...makes me wonder if someone has had an accident in my name....;) is there anyway to check??

There are Very few people who don't get those calls.

I just tell them to do one but sometimes not as good as I should .
Ask them how they get your number ! I think they buy loads of numbers from somewhere and harass the owners .

I played along, telling the girl that I had suffered fatal injuries. She asked me why I hadn't put in a claim for personal injuries. I told her that I was unable to due to my injuries being fatal. This went on for quite some time before I suggested that she asked her supervisor what 'fatal' meant.

I turn it round on them. Also like to put them on hold and see how long they wait.

Say yer I had lots , they been all my fault too , guy at work did this , they soon stopped ringing ,

I love living where I do...we don't have landlines and if anyone rings my mobile, I tell them that I'm in South America and the call is costing them 50 quid a minute...they never call back!
