Title: Classified section!
Post by: Malz0r on 21 December 2011, 11:02
Okay just a quick complaint and an maybe some help!

Getting really annoyed with people abusing this section weather it be not putting wanted thing in the wanted section thts really annoying me or being totally lazy an not putting pics or location or what ever else down which let's be honest is fairly important stuff!

To be honest I spend alot of my time brewing on here and 75% it's spot on its only the of rest of the time! Who are the mods for this area and how do you go about becoming one? I spend so much time it would be great to help sort some of it as I use it so mich'

Anyway rant over! Sorry!

You're moaning about posts being in the wrong sections but you've posted this in the wrong section :lipsrsealed:

should be here

If you spot a post in the wrong section then hit the 'report to moderator' button and one of the global mods will move

+ Fail

Moderating posts in wrong sections is one thing but correcting what people post is another.  See it everywhere all the time, especially eBay.  For example, if a seller can't be ar5ed to put the correct information in an add, f*ck em.

Yeah, mainly my view. Bad advert, less chance of a sale - advertisers problem. Why should the forum have to faf about chasing people for more detail? I have looked at a number of ways of trying to improve the classifieds that would mainly result in a separate system just for them - new login etc and I am still not sure it seems a good move to me. You are really relying on people helping themselves yet many adverts never have 'sold' put in them or even a decent title for starters. A couple of people have volunteered to help out (oop, reminds me of an ancient pm I never replied to!) but it feels a cheek really to waste their time clearing up bad advert content!!

Maybe there should be a generic form available that sellers can copy and paste?!
