The composition of that ^ is good, but it's a fuzzy instagram pic and the image quality suffers when shown large on a computer screen.
If you'd have taken that with a proper camera and got it clear, it would be much better. Even with the same colour treatment.

I find that quite hard to look at for some reason.

It's the straw boater in the middle picture, isn't it?

I think it's the level of movement though, interesting but def not easy on the eye.

Same camera position, three different shifted images composited together.  Canvas is 9000 wide and 3700 high.  No distortion across the image as it's shot using the TS-E

^ Nice. Did you tilt the lens much, because it doesn't look like it?

Something new from me:

No tilt, only shift - three lots of it.

That's the thing about the tilt + shift lens - you *don't* need to use both functions.

The miniature thing isn't all it's capable of!

What you're seeing from that photo is an effective focal length on FF of around 10mm - that's fisheye territory, but with NO distortion!

Have a look at the other picture next to it in my photostream - taken using the 24-70mm at 24mm - see how much narrower the field of vision is.

Lovin' the ant photo.  Macro lens?  EXIF says kit lens-ish.
