Anyone know where I can get one of the strip type fuses on top of the battery? Blown one. Feking cars.

the vw parts desk is only open 9-11 tomorrow and that's it all weekend and im going to watch the rugby world cup tomrowo and setting off before 9. will have to get my mam or dad to get it

turns out its not for the fuel pump... its the coolant fan...

car wownt start for some reason I thought it would be cause no fuel. hmm anyone got any ideas?

Anyone know if this fuse being blown would stop the engine starting? Starter motor cranks etc. it wants to turn over. Just Doesent :/

Was fine before I replaced thermostat.

Sorted. Ish. Except nearest 40a fuse link is a million miles away and no shops sell them.

Just gonna have to order one in and stick some house hold fuse wire on temporarily.

30a will be ok wownt it. Can't even see the fans pulling 5a. So even during start up etc should hardly be any load on them.

Seem ok to you guys?

(Ha. Electrical design engineer asking for advice on electrics. If my boss saw this I'd never hear the end of it)

You can go down with the fuse ratings, never up
