They look seriously cool and are really nice wheels but I'm not sure they'd suit a mk2 tbh. Why not do a photoshop of your car with those wheels on and ask people to give comments and feed back.  :undecided: You can't PM yet until you get to 10 posts, but when you do send a PM to a forum member called G6dub (Claire) and ask about the wire wheels they had on their mk1 and how they felt it drove, mind, they did have a 20vT in it at the time.
......now officially dubless.

do they even do those wheels in golf offsets / stud patterns?

therses a LOT more to buying wheels than buying 15"s or whatever....

for example the porsche wheels i want will cost me another 200 just for the adapters to make em fit my car..
and only a couple places sell the adapters.. and thats a reasonably popular mod

I researched wire wheels for my other car and yes you can get them in correct offsets & PCD's for virtually any car.

been thinking about the wobble thing, especially after seeing that E type on Top Gear! Think G6 must have had a duff set! That E Type was going up to 150mph.

Think Daytons are the ones with a German importer. But others are available direct from the States and there are companies in this country making them.

Prices I found were about £250 per wheel.

The only reason I didnt go ahead was because I wanted Gold centers and on spoked wheels that is real Gold plating and not suitable for road use.
