VW seem to be keen on price matching these days, that's how I got them to quote me 99 for minor service rather than 149.

Take their hand off! great price

Paid £199 recently for a full service. VW are, i think coming round to the fact they need to be more competitively priced.

It not really, its a bit more torque in the mid range and about 10 bhp at top end. What downpipe did you get? 100, 200 cel or decat.

The noise should be a lot better as well (after a few days of carbon build up)

Ahh right i see, what bhp is it running now roughly then you think? Need to get it on a rolling road to find out properly! It actually sounds abit louder, it seems to have made it pop more aswell! I'm running the pipewerx 3"downpipe with the 200cel cat from awesome gti!

In the dealers for MOT.  They managed to cock the appointment up.  Was supposed to just drop it off and collect later as I have a work meeting, but they booked it as a waiting slot so now I've got to sit around for over an hour and be late for my meeting.  It's not like people have jobs or anything else important to do

MOT all done and all good.   They took their time though and I had to scotch the work meeting!

Haha!  Sadly not, but I tell you what,if I had a bottle in the bottom of my office desk draw, I'd be seriously tempted to quaff it down right now.  TGIF!!!
