vcds block data on a mk6

Can anyone let me know if you can see standard vcds block data on a mk6 or is it only advanced blocks that are available?

yes standard and advanced are both available, although i rarely use anything other than advanced on mk5/6 platform

Thanks, the liquidgauge uses standard block data today and I just had my first Mk6 customer ask for a unit.

It looks like some of the newest VAG cars have dropped the the original standard blocks and was worried the mk6 gti could be the same. It is a pain in the but as a lot of software rework is required to add advanced blocks.

Ill get some vents off ebay and see if it is possible to fit the pcb.

Any thoughts on side or middle vents as the best position? Are they actually an identical shape?
