^^^ It seams a bit hit and miss Doc which controllers do and don't support the Xenon's, the only thing i am sure of is D and E versions do work, and for LED xenon's you need software index of above 0575 and above.
Asker, you have version F in your car.

Thank you kind sir. Would this mean it will support the older type Xenons only or will I still need version 1K0 937 087 E Z0K for older and newer type Xenons?

Sorry to be such a ditz!

In March/April probably when I change Insurance company. My present Insurance company is hopeless. I also checked with others and they recommended I go for OEM to keep the premiun low. Also, my VW dealership would not be best pleased or cover me for any electrical problems if the Xenons were not VW ones.

Steve: My F version won't support the older type Xenons either? So will I need to buy a new one for £250?

Doc: Have you had time today to install your Xenons?

Does the new LED Xenons have a different light switch?

Doc: Have you had time today to install your Xenons?

It's unlikely to support Xenon's full stop, however on your original list of parts you had it down for £200 from the guy in Germany.

Does the new LED Xenons have a different light switch?

Good point, I haven't seen anyone in Germany replacing there switch when retro fitting. I will check ETKA tonight.
