I think your gonna need the new cecm has I have already done a xenon swap on a mk6 and the bi xenon didn't work even with the wires in the right pins on the cecm

Darren

If it was an 087A BCM (early MY09 Mk6) then it wouldn't but I think Asker has the later 087F so he might be lucky

Doc want xenons

Me want too.
If I sell my wheels and Bridgestone tyres, I'll start on my Xenon trip sooner than you think.
I know one other person who wants them as I've just spoken to him.
Could a GB happen?

I was under the impression that one needed this for the LED DRL Bi-Xenons?
Part No 5K0 937 087D Z6P - 1 x network control unit = £250 for new LED DRL Xenons

Steve: They look the business. Congratulations. Green with envy.

^^^ I am not 100% yet on the correct part number for the BCM/CEM. Mine for example is 1K0 937 087D but has software version 0573, it needs to be above 0575 to support LED Xenon's, latest 2011 MY cars seam to have version 0615.

I will working on getting the correct version part number for UK cars today.

So my Old Xenon's and a CEM are now available for sale if anyone is interested

Doc: Your baby is the latest and will take any type of Bi ............Xenon.

I think I might have to follow Kenny and go to the dark side.:sad:

Kenny, if you are reading, I am coming most probably to the dark side. But then again, I might change my mind as I regularly do!

^^^ I wouldn't bet on any non-xenon car working with any type of xenon at the moment Asker, it does seam a lot of the BCM's just aren't wired for the xenon shutter control.

I have found the correct part number for the latest BCM that will support both rear LED's and the Front DRL LED Xenon's is 1K0 937 087 E Z0K and costs £249.52 inc VAT

Hi Doc, the lights are as the come from VW, so without bulbs, power supply/ballasts or cornering control modules.

I will PM you a price in a bit
