At last a Scirocco has shown a bit of steel. Out of the roundabout at Bretagh Holt and up the A590 hill he was really gunning it, knowing I was alongside.
Good old (new) Superchips map and the DSG saw him off.
He'll be puzzling why a dirty Mk5 GTI with a dog poking out of the window beat him.

at least he can sleep well knowing his car looks better on the outside and the inside, the rocco is a sweet looking ride :grin:

At what point i claimed to im not sure, my old ctr was quicker than a mapped GTI (non ED30) and the chances i was able to use it were slim to none, the R32 having more usable power coupled with 4wd suited me better, even if i lose a second from 60-100 (which of course every one does every day :huh: )

R32 is a lovely car .... I love my Edition 30 especially now remapped :evil: but would equally love an R32 :smiley: Maybe I need both :laugh:

today went out,... there is a steepish hill with a speed camera on it.. 2 lanes... inside cuts in to outside... so i saw this r32 on the inside so i carefulyl drove up next to it, camera was 30mph, so we r driving next to eachother, then just at the end of the white lines we both tried to get in front..... i just shot past. tehehe
only exited cuz it was an r32
