is there much difference between a gti t remapped and a gt tdi 150 remapped? I have a gti remapped. But reading that thread about a superchipped gt tdi just got me thinkin. Cheers
Gone but still keeping a close eye on it...

Mk4 golf 1.8t AUM Hybrid K03s. Custom Mapped by R-tech to 260bhp. CR hybrid turbo Audi TT injectors / fuel pump, Forge tip,THS FMIC,Carbonio CAI, Full milltek turbo back, N249 bypass, Fully poly bushed, Weitec coils. Genuine R32 front bumper and Genuine R-line rear, Genuine Porsche twists, Anniversary black interior.

depends what else the car has bar the remap on the whole i would have thought you would get better tuning performance from the petrol models

cars just both standard apart fron remap. Yup thats what i think linz

Not much in it at all - you may get a bit more "turbo kick" from the petrol but think of the MPG from the derv  :wink:

lol think of the MPG? once you have payed more for the diesel in the first place surely you would want the extra turbo kick and the sound of a 2.0l turbo with DV instead of a tractor sounding diesel  :tongue:

maybe but with an average range of 550miles even when mapped is hard to resist

not to mention 280lbs ft torque from 1800rpm  :tongue:
