Just a quick hello. It started with a Beetle back in 1985.......luckily it got better along the way with Polos, Golfs and Passats and I now find myself with a MK7.5 Gti dsg.
I did some snooping around here when I saw the cracks in my roof, and today I picked up the car after a warranty repair and upgraded replacement parts fitted(?) So thanks to whoever posted before for the heads up.
Love the car, and apparently so does someone at VW service centre as it came back in sport mode with 30miles added on!
My 1st Golf back in the 90's was the most memorable. A mix of alcohol and stupidity enabled me to launch it over a roundabout on a wet Essex bypass at 5am. My 1st fully comp policy paid out the £3500 repair bill and it was sold very soon after. "too much car for you boy" my Dad said, and he was right!
