only reason its quick shaun is cos i have the money to pay, but if i had known the extent of the rot i would have just taken my time and learned how to weld on the car myself and got me in laws to do the tricky bits, bodywork is costing more than i bought it for

more pics, arches have been folded to a flat lip and will be sealed to stop any rusting of the edges, this has been done to the rears as well.
inner wing has had a trial coat of stonechip.
this week new windscreen and seal arrived so i dropped that off along with new door hinge pins, new wiring tubes for rear hatch and new front indicators.
im going to order some new oem headlights to get rid of the hideous crosshairs, so it will have a full new set of lights all round.
wheels have been sold for 300 so that will pay off a small part of the bill

Nice.  Did the same to all four of my inner arches, well worth doing.  Done a couple of thousand miles since and still looks fresh when pressure washed.

If you want to get a little OCD on protection, may I suggest you drop the shocks out, clean the inside of the turrets and do in there to.  Looked inside mine even though everywhere else was clean, it was a bit of 5hit trap and found some surface rust where the top mounts sit.

If it's on coilovers it wouldn't take long at all.  I hear you though as I'm sure you weren't planning things like this so soon.
