Does anyone know the make / model of the springs and shocks fitted to the GTD??

I am just wondering if you ever found this out?  I had my VW MK6 GTD in for a service today and they have just rang me to say there is oil leaking from the rear shocks and they need replaced and are quoting me £550 to do the job!

Wouldn't mind finding out what the standard model is in them and pricing myself.  Also - my car has Adaptive Chassis Control - not sure if there is a different shock again!

Sadly not  :sad:

I wanted to know as for when I come to replace my S Line suspension ideally I would want GTD suspension simply because the ride is not as harsh and doesn't seem to skip over bumps etc

Yours might well be different again  :undecided:
