Milking on Audi roof rails

Whats the best way to stop the "milking" on Audi window trim and roof rails.?

hmmm... are the roof rails black or chrome? (chrome can go milky too)

sometimes roof rails are just a kind of vinyl/plastic wrap which can be difficult to sort out

options, without seeing them, include:

taking them off and (re)spraying/recovering them
polishing them
dying them with trim dye
treating with trim restorer

as for your trim.. thoroughly clean and degrease and then treat with something like Aerospace 303 or another good trim restoring product

remember though that a lot of trim products contain silicone and this won't last long

i own an audi a4 avant and mine has the black rails on it which were milky when i first got it, basically if there black or cromed just polish them then seal and wax them and they'll come up mint. get stuck in.

Yeah, they are the chrome ones, but I was under the impression that the roof rails were aluminium.
